Family owned and operated for over 60 years Winschel Carpet Service, Inc. offers Carpet, Vinyl, Hardwoods, Laminates, and Area rugs. Residential and commercial customers are welcome.  Interior Decorators are always as welcome as a "Summer Breeze" at Winschel Carpet Service, we work hand in hand with all contractors, too.

In our warehouse shop, area rugs are fashioned, along with custom binding, fringing, and serging.

Winschel Carpet Service, Inc. offers not only full service sales and installation, but cleaning of your floor covering.  We offfer a Truck Mounted Cleaning system. Drop Off Service is also available. Our History.....

Ken Winschel began his career in the carpet business in 1945 at Hellrung & Grimm. After a Few years he moved to Sears Roebuck, selling carpet and scheduling installation crews.
 
In 1955 he opened his own business. He began by cleaning carpets and working from his station wagon.

He then moved into a building on Natural Bridge road. He was cleaning carpet as well as installing.

In 1976, Winschel moved his business to Florissant, at 2060 North Highway 67, where the business stands today. 

Ken is now semi-retired, his son and daughter now proudly run the family business.
